End-to-End Metal Fabrication
Alliance Metal Solutions delivers comprehensive sheet metal fabrication from our purpose-built facility in Somersby, NSW. We take your project from initial concept through engineering, cutting, forming, welding and assembly, providing a single point of accountability for the entire manufacturing process. This integrated approach reduces lead times, eliminates coordination headaches and ensures consistent quality from start to finish.
Our fabrication capabilities cover everything from one-off prototypes and small-batch engineering samples through to ongoing production runs of thousands of parts. Whether you need enclosures, brackets, frames, panels, housings or complete weldments, our experienced team has the skill and equipment to deliver parts that meet your specifications every time.
We work across a wide range of industries including construction, mining, transport, food processing, defence and general manufacturing. Each sector has its own standards and expectations, and our quality management system is structured to meet them. All welding is performed by qualified tradespeople and certified to AS/NZS 1554 where required.

Our Fabrication Process
Every fabrication project at Alliance Metal Solutions follows a structured workflow designed to catch issues early and deliver right-first-time results. It begins with a thorough review of your drawings, models or specifications. Our engineering team assesses manufacturability, identifies potential improvements and confirms material selections before any metal is cut.
Once drawings are approved, parts move through our laser cutting and CNC bending departments where profiles are cut and formed to precise dimensions. Components then progress to our welding and assembly area, where qualified fabricators join, fit and finish each assembly according to the approved drawings and weld procedure specifications.
For projects requiring surface treatment, we offer in-house powder coating and can coordinate external finishing services such as hot-dip galvanising, anodising or electroplating. Finished assemblies are inspected against dimensional tolerances, weld quality standards and visual appearance criteria before packing and dispatch.
We understand that production schedules matter. Our planning team manages workflow across all departments to ensure your delivery dates are met. Regular clients benefit from call-off arrangements where we hold stock of frequently ordered components, ready to ship on short notice. This approach keeps your production line moving without tying up capital in excess inventory.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you work from our 3D models or do we need to supply 2D drawings?
We accept both 3D models and 2D drawings. Our engineering team works with STEP, IGES, DXF, DWG and native SolidWorks files. If you only have a concept sketch or sample part, we can reverse-engineer it and produce manufacturing drawings for your approval before fabrication begins.
What is the minimum order quantity for fabrication?
There is no minimum order quantity. We regularly produce single prototypes, small batches of five to fifty pieces and ongoing production runs of several thousand units. Our quoting is transparent, so you will see per-unit pricing at various quantities and can choose the volume that suits your needs.
Do you provide material test certificates and inspection reports?
Yes. We supply material test certificates (MTCs) and inspection reports on request. For structural and critical applications, we provide weld procedure qualification records, welder qualifications and dimensional inspection reports as part of the quality documentation package.
